Staying On Property
Everything you need to know if you are staying at Twenty Mile House for the weekend.
Are You Staying On Site?
If you are staying on the Twenty Mile House property, we have already let you know directly. If you have not heard from us about a room on property, plan to book your own lodging in the area.
Not staying on property? Check our Travel page for nearby lodging options.
How Lodging Works
One payment, directly to us
Twenty Mile House handles on-property lodging through us. You pay Maya and Conner directly — one simple payment — and we place you in one of the houses on the property based on your group, family situation, and any special needs.
Houses, not hotel rooms
Each house is privately yours for the weekend — not a hotel room with a front desk. The houses are scattered across the 200-acre property and have full beds, bedding, kitchens, and pull-out sofas in some units. Your specific house will be assigned before the weekend so you know exactly where you are headed.
The Six On-Property Houses
All six house family and friends. The map below shows where each one sits on the property.

What Is Provided
Beds, sheets, and bedding — all linens are provided. Some homes have pull-out sofas for extra sleeping capacity.
Water — drinking water is available throughout the property.
Some pantry basics — we will stock minor items in your house. Plan on bringing the rest.
Additional food at the Main House — we will have additional food available at the Main House for everyone on property.
What to Bring
Stop for groceries on your way in. Reno has the closest large supermarkets — we recommend stocking up there before driving up.
Groceries — bring what you and your group will eat for the weekend. Especially breakfast.
Breakfast items — coffee, eggs, fruit, anything you want to start your morning with. The Main House handles other meals but breakfast is on you.
Snacks and drinks — whatever you and your people want on hand. Beer, wine, soda, snacks.
Personal items — toiletries, medications, swimwear, layers for cool mountain evenings.
Shoes for the property — you will be walking on natural ground and gravel paths. Bring comfortable shoes plus your formal wedding-day attire.
Arrival & Check-In
Friday, August 7 — from 4:00 PM
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM. Drive directly to the property and park in front of your assigned house.
Keys are in the front doors. If you need help finding your house or have any questions, head to the General Store and someone from the Twenty Mile House team will help you out.
Please do not park in the cul-de-sac. That area needs to stay clear for the shuttle van and turnaround on Saturday.
The Property
Twenty Mile House sits on 200 acres in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. There is a natural creek and river running through the property, towering pines, and wide open space. Take your time on Friday afternoon to walk around and settle in.
General Store — the central hub of the property. Wedding day items, room assignments help, and the gathering spot.
Main House — group meals and additional food. Porch swing area for slow mornings.
Creek and river — runs through the property. Bring swimwear if you want to spend time near the water.
Trails and open space — 200 acres to explore. Comfortable shoes recommended.
Departure
Sunday, August 9 — 10:30 AM Check-Out
Please be packed and out of your house by 10:30 AM Sunday. Maya and Conner will be walking through every accommodation.
